What is El Sueño on parati?

El Sueño
El Sueño (“The Dream”) is one big gift for the whole event in a parati registry: it has a goal and a minimum contribution you set, and each guest gives what they like from the invitation. It carries the same fee as any gift: if your guests cover it, it reaches you in full.

It’s the closest thing to a lluvia de sobres (cash in an envelope) inside parati: each guest decides how much to give. The difference is that there’s a goal—the honeymoon, the down payment, the crib—and a progress bar in plain view on the invitation.
How it differs from a regular gift:
- A regular gift has a price and a quantity, and it can be split into shares so several guests can go in on it together from the store.
- El Sueño has no stock: it has a goal and a minimum contribution, and each guest gives whatever amount they like.
About the fee: everything contributed to El Sueño carries the same fee as any gift, and you choose whether your guest or you cover it. If your guests cover it, the contribution reaches you in full.
