Questions about security

Does parati store my card details?

No. Card details are typed into the payment gateway's form, Culqi or Mercado Pago, and the gateway processes the charge. parati never sees or stores them.

Which gateway processes a gift payment?

Culqi or Mercado Pago, depending on the order: parati decides which one each payment opens with. Both take cards and Yape (Peru's mobile wallet), and your guest sees the gateway's form before paying.

How is a direct Yape or bank transfer checked?

When the celebration accepts direct Yape or bank transfer, your guest uploads the operation number and a photo of the receipt. Our team checks that the amount reached the account and only then approves the gift; if it didn't, the gift is rejected and the guest is told by email.

Where is the money until I withdraw it?

parati holds what your celebration raises until you request a payout from “Ingresos” (Income) in the app. We deposit it into the CCI account you registered in your profile. Each celebration's first payout is free; later ones cost S/ 15.

Do I need my bank details to publish the invitation?

No. You can create and publish your celebration without them. The account holder, ID document and CCI account are requested when you ask for your first payout.

I was charged twice. What do I do?

Write to us on WhatsApp or at soporte@paratipe.com with the operation number. Duplicate charges, charges you don't recognize and wrong amounts are refunded in full, fee included, to the same payment method within 7 business days of confirming the error.
