Digital birthday invitation with a gift registry

Invitation shown in Spanish

ExampleDiego RSVP’d yes

How it works

  1. 1Choose a design

An invitation that feels like you. Add your photos and your words, and see it as a phone shows it before you publish.

  2. 2Add the details

A three-step wizard: what you're celebrating, the names and the date. The rest can wait until you're ready.

  3. 3Share one link

Via WhatsApp, no guest accounts needed. Guests RSVP and give by Yape or card from their phone.

It opens like a gift

A toast to your next trip around the sun

It's the first thing guests see when they open the link: an animated opening that ends on your invitation. You choose it in the editor, and it can always be skipped.

Frequently asked questions about your birthday gift registry

All frequently asked questions

How do I ask for one big birthday gift instead of many?

With El Sueño (“The Dream”): instead of a price and units it has a goal and a minimum contribution that you set, and each friend adds whatever they like from the invitation while seeing how much is left. If you'd rather keep it concrete, a regular gift can also be split into shares. What goes into El Sueño carries the same fee as any gift: if your guests cover it, it reaches you in full.

What do you give someone who already has a birthday registry?

Let what's missing guide you: the registry shows how much is left on each gift, so you can close one that's half covered or take a share of the priciest one. Nobody sees who contributed or how much they gave, not even the other guests, so you can give what fits your budget without anyone keeping score.

Does it work for a kids' birthday party?

It does, and the RSVP is what helps most: each parent types their name and adds the children coming along, with first name, last name and relationship. There's no limit on companions or guests, and if someone RSVPs again with the same email or phone their answer is updated instead of duplicated, so your headcount for the cake adds up.

Do my friends need an account to give me a gift?

No. They type their name, pick the gift and pay by card or Yape (Peru's mobile payment app), on a parati page. Nobody leaves card details on your invitation: the payment gateway processes them. They don't need an account to say they're coming either.

Can my guests help build the party playlist?

When they RSVP, guests can suggest a song by searching Spotify: when parati has Spotify connected, the first suggestion creates a public playlist for your birthday and the rest are added to it. Separately, you choose the invitation's opening song from the iTunes catalog or by uploading your own file.

How do I receive the money my friends put together?

parati keeps every contribution safe until it's handed over to you. Whenever you want to get paid, tap “Solicitar desembolso” (Request payout) in “Ingresos” (Income) and we deposit it into your CCI account (Peru's interbank account number). You enter your payout details (account holder, ID document and account) just once in your profile settings. Each celebration's first payout is free; later ones cost S/ 15.

How much does the birthday invitation and registry cost?

Creating, designing, publishing and sharing are free, with no plan or subscription. parati charges a fee on the gifts bought from the registry, and you choose whether your guests cover it or you do; the calculator on the gift registry page shows, in soles, what your guest pays and what you receive in each case.
