For guests
Got a link from parati?
Here's how to check it's a real invitation before you give a gift. You don't need to create an account for anything.
What an invitation's address looks like
paratipe.com/e/valeria-y-matias
- parati's domain
- The path every invitation uses
- The celebration's name
Three things you can check
The address starts with paratipe.com/e/
Every invitation lives at paratipe.com/e/ followed by the celebration's name. Make sure it says exactly paratipe.com, not a look-alike name.
It doesn't ask you to create an account
You open the link, RSVP or choose a gift, and pay without signing up for anything.
If in doubt, ask the person who invited you
Each invitation has its own link. The person who invited you can send it again and confirm it's theirs.
When you give a gift
You pay on a parati page, by card or Yape (Peru's mobile wallet). Here's what happens to your money.
How we protect every paymentCard or Yape, through an authorized gateway
Payments are processed by Culqi or Mercado Pago, depending on the order. Your card details are typed into the gateway's form: parati never sees or stores them.
Direct Yape or bank transfer, with a receipt
If the celebration accepts direct Yape or bank transfer, you upload the operation number and a photo of the receipt. Our team approves the gift only once it confirms the money arrived; if it didn't, you're told by email.
The fee, in plain sight
If the organizer chose to have guests cover it, you'll see parati's and the gateway's fee as a separate line before paying.
Your confirmation, by email
Once the payment is approved, a confirmation email goes to the address you gave when paying.
If something goes wrong
Charged twice, a charge you don't recognize or the wrong amount? Write to us with the operation number. It's refunded in full, fee included, to the same payment method within 7 business days of confirming the error.
Questions from guests
Do I need an account to RSVP or give a gift?
No. You open the link you were sent, RSVP or choose a gift, and pay without signing up for anything.
Does parati store my card details?
No. Card details are typed into the payment gateway's form, Culqi or Mercado Pago, and the gateway processes the charge. parati never sees or stores them.
Can other guests see how much I gave?
No. Guests only see how much is left to complete each gift, never who chipped in or how much they gave.
Why is there a separate charge when I pay?
It's parati's fee plus the payment gateway's. The organizer chooses whether their guests cover it or they do, which is why you sometimes see it as a separate line before paying and sometimes don't.
I lost the invitation link. How do I get back to it?
Ask the person who invited you for it again: each invitation has its own link, and that's the quickest way back.
